He makes a 'raising up' gesture with his right hand, and the clock on the wall eases itself off of it's moorings. Once it's floating free, he makes a number of more intricate gestures with both hands, and it starts coming apart on its own. Gears and springs separate and float in the air above their heads, as if it were some sort of three-dimensional diagram.
"Some people can fly, or see the future. Some people can breathe underwater. And some people have telepathy. And they tend to be real jerks." He's still a little bitter about the time he spent with his cop friend Parkman, honestly. "You really haven't heard anything about this before? I was sort of banking on this being a prison for people with special abilities."
He says it casually, but he's definitely watching for Aaron's reaction to all of this.
